We've Adopted!

I'm so happy to show you our newest additon. His name is Buddy. He's a 4 yr old, wheaten Cairn Terrier. We adopted him from Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network. It took a little while to go through the process, and arrange a trip to meet his foster Mom to pick him up, but the wait was well worth it. He is so precious and well behaved and now our Winnie has a new companion to keep him from being such a couch potatoe. Checking In

I know its about time! I apologize that I haven't checked in sooner but with the holidays and an illness, I've just started to feel like doing something worthwhile! I spent a lot of time looking at these walls--probably too much time! I got to take a good look around this house and make some decisions as to just how to get it decorated the way I like. This will be an on-going process! So now I'm finally picking up my art and getting back to normal. It feels good. Happy Belated New Year! ~Debbie

Happy Veterans Day 2011

What a special day! We're awaiting the arrival of my favorite Sailor returning from his second tour in Iraq at any time!!! We are all very excited and thankful for his safe return! But we're also remembering all who have served in the past, and all of those still serving today so that we can enjoy our freedom. God Bless all of YOU!

Saying GoodBye is Never Easy

Our hearts our heavy at my house. We had to say Good Bye to our Sweet Gonchar yesterday. We rescued him over 10 years ago. He brought us so much love and joy and we are thankful we had him in our life. He endured a lot in the past couple of years and he was quite the little fighter. I know that all of you who have suffered the same kind of loss know how we're feeling. Rest in Peace Sweet Baby. We miss you. ~ Debbie

We had a sleepover and well, you can't keep little boys sitting in the house, so we played outside in the most gorgeous weather we've had for at least a week! They are so much fun! SHE SURVIVED THE EARTHQUAKE!

This little cutie and her cat were minding their own business yesterday when we were hit by a surprise earthquake. We've never had the experience before and hope to never have it again. Samantha was sitting on top of Spookers before the quake, but was sitting next to him afterwards. They are fine and listed on Ebay last night. That was a really scary experience for all of us. We thought our house was collapsing. ~Debbie
